A Little About Me
Hello and Welcome!
My name is Nadine and I'm a Qualified Doula and Photographer located in Calderwood, on the South Coast.
I'm a wife and mama to 2 littles!
After having my 2nd baby, I felt like I went through an identity crisis. I quit my 9-5 whilst still on maternity leave and didnt know what I wanted to do, or who I wanted to be.
This was the start of a whole new career path and I've never looked back.
Some times big steps can be scary, but in my case it was the best decision I have ever made!
Why Photography?
My love for photography started from taking photos of my own children and then realizing just how important photos are in the end.
I was usually always the one behind the camera, and I knew so many mums in the same position. I just wanted to create memories and capture the beautiful chaos that life has to offer.
You will never live the same moment twice, but you can look back and photos and remember the memories behind it.
Why Doula?
Unfortunately, I experienced birth trauma with both of my baby's births, and ever since I have had an overwhelming passion to want to help support, educate and empower pregnant mamas (and partners) so they hopefully never experience birth trauma as well.
I did all my research and found a company to complete my doula training through and I loved every single minute of study in the process of becoming qualified. I was even able to complete and get certified in my breastfeeding course.
